Japan: Mori tower 2012-09-14

Mori tower, residing in the Roppongi district of Tokyo, functions as an art gallery, observation center, and meeting point. It's an inexpensive way to take in glorious views of Tokyo!
Zoltan, his sister, and I went together and had a blast.

We timed our visit so that we could take in the city during the day, sunset, and the evening.

Many more photos below!

Japan: Urayasu sanpo 2012-09-14

Sanpo, or osanpo, is Japanese for taking a casual, pleasant stroll.
I'm quite fond of the word, so I like to use it when referring to my walks. ^_^

This charming little abode was tucked away along a quiet residential street in Urayasu.
My friend Zoltan, his sister and I were walking to Urayasu station to head into Tokyo to visit Mori tower and show his sister around. :) It was also a bit of a prolonged birthday celebration, which I've previously touched on in this post. This post and tomorrow's will be focused on sharing photos of the outings!

(Insert inappropriate joke here.)

After hanging around Asakusa for awhile and taking in the sights, Yuka and I walked to Solamachi!

Japan: Senso-Ji temple in Asakusa & my birthday 2012-09-13 「日本語も」

Senso-Ji temple in Asakusa is a popular tourist destination in Tokyo, and it's understandable why.
With the combination of beautiful buildings, cultural heritage and traditional restaurants, it's a bastion of Japanicana.

あたしの誕生日でゆかちゃん一緒に浅草の浅草寺行ってきました。
その場所はとてもりぱですね?
きれいな建物と素敵な日本食レストランはいっぱい!

For my birthday, my friend Yuka and I adventured out around Tokyo.
I've actually covered this in a post before, so this post is primarily focused on sharing more of the photos from that wonderful day.

Japan: Photoshoot with Peter Blake

I was exceptionally lucky one day and the fantastically talented photographer Peter Blake contacted little old me inquiring if I'd be willing to model for him in Tokyo.
Supremely flattered, I had to say yes!

I'm certainly no professional and feel far more at home behind the lens, personally, but I am so very grateful to have had this opportunity! The photos came out fabulously despite by cheesiness. Read on for more! ALL photos are copyright Peter Blake.

(and please forgive my narcissism~)
